I have been in recruitment for as long as I can remember and love nothing more than supporting my clients and candidates to find each other (in many ways, recruitment is a lot like match-making).
Having worked for a variety of companies, ranging from small independent agencies to larger corporate organisations, I have developed a good grasp of what makes people tick and an ability to quickly identify what companies are looking for in a potential candidate – skills that I have brought with me to the company.
Along the way I have built fantastic long standing relationships with my clients and am proud to say that they have remained loyal throughout my career.
With 15 years’ experience specialising in temporary, contract and permanent recruitment, you could say that I know my stuff. I began my recruitment career as a young trainee consultant and worked my way up to business manager, finally becoming branch manager of a national high street agency.
Having built up my business management skills, I began to wonder if it was time to put these to the test by starting up my own venture. My vision of creating an agency which offered a more personalised and consultative service, rather than just a KPI driven ethos was shared by Charlotte and together we came up with the concept of Assertive Solutions and haven’t looked back.
